The Best Italian Restaurant in Bergen County

The Best Italian Restaurant in Bergen County

So how does one become the best Italian restaurant in Bergen County, NJ?

Hard work? Sure.

Practice? Definitely.

We can give you all the cliché answers that you can think of, but we think that we have a pretty good idea of what makes us one of the best Italian restaurants in Bergen County.

Quality Food

When it come to having a great Italian restaurant, your food has to be on point. Of course we think our sauce is better than the other guys! Of course we are partial to our meatball recipe (we think Joe’s Fried Meatballs are possibly the best in the country). But why do we believe it’s so good? Here is the secret: We just refuse to cut corners. We know what goes into our dishes. We buy the best ingredients, we source the best wines, and we make sure that the quality stays consistent. Period. When you come back to us for one of our double cut pork chops, we want it to be just as good as how you first remember it. (And we want you to come back with friends because you trust that it will be!) We also believe in value and that is why we price our dishes fairly. Yes, you may pay a little more than you would at another restaurant, but you are getting a lot more in terms of value.

Great Service

When you walk in the door, we want you to feel at home. If you have been here before, chances are we will remember. After a couple more times, you are as good as family. One thing that you will notice is that our staff is always the same. We hire the best and they work hard to make sure that you have an amazing experience. Our hosts, waiters, bartenders, and support staff very rarely change. They are amazing people that take their jobs seriously and put their hearts into giving great service. We know that you can spend your money at any one of the hundreds of restaurants in Bergen County. When you choose to spend it with us, we respect that decision and we NEVER take it for granted.

Personalized Atmosphere

We know that some people do not like big crowds or loud rooms, while others enjoy a little action; that’s why the New Bridge Inn is set up the way that it is. We offer a large main dining room for those who want a relaxed night out and a fantastic meal and we also offer a beautiful tavern-style bar room that is perfect for when you want to watch the big game, have a drink with friends, make new friends, or listen to the best live music in Bergen County.

And even though that is all great stuff – the biggest part of what makes our atmosphere special comes directly from our customers. Although hundreds of people come to Sanzari’s every month for their very first time, we are one of those restaurants that are very lucky to say that we have a big “regular” crowd. And our “regulars” are amazing people and families, many of whom are outgoing and inviting. We hear time and time again how lifelong friendships have blossomed while sitting side-by-side at our bar. That is what makes our place truly special.

Come Say Hello

If you have never tried us before, we hope that you will. Reservations can be made online or by phone. We have live entertainment on most Friday and Saturday nights – and if you have never heard Liza & Josh sing – you owe it to yourself to come find out why they are considered to be the best live entertainment in North Jersey. Come in, say hello and have a great meal. Tell us what you liked and what you didn’t like – we love good feedback and we value honest criticism. After all – we are working hard to be the best Italian restaurant in Bergen County, and we can’t do it without you.

Thanks for reading and hope to see you soon!
